Travel Advisory: Waiver of Temporary Visa Extension Fees

In light of the recent flight restrictions in European Airspace imposed due to the volcanic ash from the Iceland Volcano, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) of the Philippines is waiving temporary visa immigration fees in favour of affected passengers.

Extension of temporary visitor’s visa of affected foreign nationals may be done at the Main BI office, satellite offices, field offices, sub-port offices and at the airports.

The waiver is subject to presentation of a certification from the airline of their confirmed booking dates.
