Aquino ‘recommends’ 2 new Clark execs

CLARK FREEPORT — President Benigno Aquino III has reportedly recommended two personalities for the Clark Development Corporation’s (CDC) top posts.

The President’s recommendation letter was reportedly read before Monday’s CDC Board meeting, where the names of Former Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo as president and Cezar Villanueva as chairman were mentioned.

Remollo and Villanueva are reportedly set to be elected by the CDC board on April 27, an official from the state-owned corporation, who asked not to be named, said.

Remollo is a known political ally and supporter of President Aquino and Former Senator Mar Roxas.

Villanueva, on the other hand, is a dean at the Ateneo de Manila Law School, brother of Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated president Frankie Villanueva, and husband of Holy Angel University president Arlyn S. Villanueva.
