Lawmaker eyes tourism summit for Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — First district Board Member Tarcicio Halili said Thursday that plans are up with the Provincial Tourism Office for a Tourism Summit in September.
The summit calls for the finalization of a tourism master plan for Pampanga.
The master plan, according to Halili, is expected to boost the National Government’s tourism agenda in the province.
This will enable the province to maximize the promotion of festivals, historical and social destinations and attractions in the province, he added.
The summit will also clarify the role of the provincial tourism council and set parameters and guidelines for tourism programs in Pampanga, Halili said. (Ian Ocampo Flora)
