Yokohama employee killed in crash

MABALACAT — An employee of Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Company in Clark Freeport was killed in a road mishap that transpired along the MacArthur Highway in Barangay Dau here on Saturday.
Wilson Avila Reyes, 31, married, an employee of Yokohama, of 15th Street Mawaque Resettlement Center, died in a chain collision involving three motorcycles.

Superintendent Rodney Raymond Louie J. Baloyo IV, town police chief, said Reyes was driving his motorcycle when he hit two other bikes driven by Alex Lagman, 42, of Concepcion, Tarlac; and Ramie Celis, 29, Northville 16, Atlu-Bola, this town.

Based on investigation, Reyes was “counter flowing” at the South-bound lane of the national highway when he collided with the two motorcycles.
Reyes and the two other drivers were rushed to the Saint Rafael Foundation Medical Center but the former was reportedly pronounced “dead on arrival” by physicians.
Reyes’s body was taken to the Galang Funeral Parlor for autopsy.
